Our History Deri-İş
- 1958
Established in 1958, Deri-İş laid the first foundations at Karaköy Necati Bey Caddesi. Our founder, who wants to focus on leather production and end-user products related to leather, has made a very rapid entry into the sector.
- 1973
Our founder made great progress 15 years after starting the company. Our Valuable Founder, which has created a 'Monopoly' in the leather industry, has continued to manage the company with a 70% growth.
- 1981
While our founder continues to successfully advance the company's operational leather operations, and with the rapid progress of Deri-İş in the sector, our competitors had started to increase rapidly. This year, while our founder wanted to bring innovation to the company, the participation of the second generation to the company has strongly increased its potential and became an important part of this company.
- 1993
It has been a very important year for Deri-İş Firm. The company started its first import and brought a completely different direction to the sector. At that time the import on leather goods was absent, so Deri-İş had become Turkey's leading company and has taken the first major step to improve the sector.
- 1999
Our esteemed founder and president passed away. We remember him with mercy, respect and love.
- 2002
Deri-İş, which has covered a great distance in imports, has managed to become a pioneer in the import sector on leather products. Deri-İş wanted to enter export along with leather imports, and thus started to lay the foundations for export.
- 2005
Having achieved a rising momentum in the export sector, Deri-İş started researching and planning in order to enter a new sector with the opportunities brought by exports. Deri-İş continued to innovate in leather products until today.
- 2008
The Leather-brand Vizwell has been the Official Distributor of Turkey. VIZWELL enters the market, and has been described as the job security sector in Turkey, which took leadership in this sector.
- 2011
VIZWELL has been the No. 1 brand in Turkey's job security sector. Thus, in Turkey, it has seen a 50% reduction in job security. This has been a source of motivation for Deri-İş and Deri-İş has decided to establish its own brand in the sector. Thus, IZRASA brand was born.
- 2015
435/5000 Deri-İş has managed to be a pioneering company in the job security sector. Deri-İş continued its production, import and export activities both in the leather sector and mainly in the occupational safety sector. This growth proceeds towards establishing a subsidiary company with our Deri-İş and business partners. Thus, NAR Company was established and this company was established on work safety equipment and equipment.
- 2018
Continuing to grow, Deri-İş has followed the technological infrastructure and innovations brought by the era and turned to digital marketing and new generation sales strategies.
